ABOUT US

We are a specialist brand making traditional breeches for a variety of equestrian and country sports pursuits. The brand was created to fill a gap in the market; that is, a high quality tailored garment that is both hard wearing and well fitting.

In the 1930’s there were hundreds of specialist tailors who had the skills and expertise to pattern cut and tailor these garments. Today there are less than
a handful of craftsmen left who have the skills and knowledge to be able to produce this challenging garment.

After extensive research, we launched the traditional split fall Hunt breech in traditional Bedford Cord as our first made to measure product in 2010.

In 2011, we started to produce Bedford Cord to our own specification and finish which critically enabled the garment to be machine washable, delivering on both aesthetics and practicality and provides a softer finish.

Shortly after, we extended the range to include other styles, cloths and colours and in 2015, we started to introduce a selection of high quality ready-to-wear products to complement our existing tailored products.
